Llars Verdes
Llars Verdes is an educational programme aimed at residents of Valencia who are concerned about the environmental impact of their everyday decisions and habits. This initiative seeks to establish a pilot group of households at the forefront of the city’s ecological transition, with a view to promoting patterns of consumption and resource use that have the least impact. The proposal also aims to put forward recommendations to the city council to make life easier for all households in the city as they transition towards sustainability, moving from individual actions to a more collective approach.
Participation in the Llars Verdes programme is completely free of charge for participants. It will be run by technical staff from the Valencia Energy Office and will benefit from the collaboration of the Valencia Provincial Council and the Valencian Community Centre for Environmental Education (CEACV). The workshops will be led by experts at municipal level, such as Emivasa, CEMAS and Justicia Alimentaria.
