WELLBASED aimed to design, implement and evaluate a plan to reduce energy poverty and its impact on the health and well-being of vulnerable people in Valencia. To this end, it carried out interventions in vulnerable households, collecting and analysing energy- and health-related indicators. The project enabled the establishment of public policies that address the structural problem of energy poverty and upheld citizens’ right to energy.

València Sostenible led the implementation of energy interventions in vulnerable households to combat energy poverty, initially in the neighbourhoods of Algiròs, Camins al Grau and Poblats Marítims, helping more than 130 households achieve energy empowerment and improve their quality of life.
